Benedict Cumberbatch is concerned that his body may never get back to normal. “My wrists are turning into ankles, I’ve joints coming out of my fucking hips. I’ve had problems with my neck, my voice has come and gone. I’ve had concussions, I’ve had cuts. I’ve got a thing in my left foot called plantar fasciitis, which means that the tendons ball up into a ball of agony,” lists the 34 year old, explaining the carnage that has come from the very physical performance.“I don’t think anyone could do it for too long if they give it the kind of welly we’re giving it. It’s great, but there’s a limit to us humans.”
Don’t mind me. I’ve just been re-reading this interview and experiencing a high level of Frankenstalgia that this photograph brings out in me. Can’t believe it’s been over a year but it still haunts me.
This man inspires me by how dedicated he is to his work and how he is willing to push his body beyond the limit in order...
He is so dedicated and brilliant. It’s fantastic.
